Accountant - fixed assets (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood North Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for cleanroom operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
