Accountant - fixed assets (Salt Lake City, UT)

Nova Ivory Civic Services Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 99 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around case files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
