Accountant - fixed assets (Salt Lake City, UT)

Rivermark North Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
