Accountant - fixed assets (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Clear Care Services Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
