Accountant - fixed assets (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Wilder Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Sacramento producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
