Accountant - fixed assets (Reno, NV)

Westbrook Willow Medical is a Reno company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Reno. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to complaint handling, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
