Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Manufacturing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tooling, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
