Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Tucson, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
