Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer estimates, and clear open items. • Track costs around parts orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
