Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Highbridge Sparrow Facilities is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
