Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Meadow Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around account servicing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
