Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Summit Haven Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pricing, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
