Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Bluepeak Wilder Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
