Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Bluepeak Ivory Hospitality Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Track costs around reviews and feedback against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to housekeeping schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with housekeeping schedules.
