Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Iron Community Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client intake, and clear open items. • Track costs around food distribution against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
