Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Basin Health and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
