Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Silverline North Early Learning is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Track costs around tuition and subsidies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
