Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Greenridge Juniper Health runs clinics and patient services around Providence. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
