Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Rook Financial and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around vendor spend against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account servicing, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
