Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Basin Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Wichita serving households and small businesses, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to branch operations, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around loan files against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with branch operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
