Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Lumen Birch Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 915 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to care plans, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
