Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Silverline Ridge Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Savannah. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
