Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Stonegate Rowan Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Anchorage area, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 980 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to food costs, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
