Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Bright Bridge Energy Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around meter readings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service connections, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
