Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Fox Construction Partners and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around project schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to safety records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
