Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Ironwood Willow Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Buffalo producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
