Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Bright North Learning Group is an education provider in Las Vegas serving students and families, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 632 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
