Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Rivermark Juniper Hospitality is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around group events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to housekeeping schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
