Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Northwind Ivory Health is a healthcare provider in Nashville with clinics and support teams, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient education, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
