Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Clearpath Beacon Pharma develops and makes medicines in Providence. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to batch records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
