Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Ironwood Drift Hospitality is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 73 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier orders, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around housekeeping schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
