Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Highbridge Oak Health Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to insurance authorisations, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
