Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Ironwood Basin Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 140 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
