Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Quarry Foods and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ingredient orders, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
