Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Highbridge Loom Medical Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to complaint handling, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
