Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Cedar Inspection Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 815 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around client sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
