Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Rivermark Press is a printer and publisher in Las Vegas serving local and national clients, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around bindery work against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to proofing, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
