Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Silverline Haven Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Reno region, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around permits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to materials orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
