Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Rivermark Granite Staffing Group places workers with employers around Toledo. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 436 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client orders, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
