Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Willow Staffing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Track costs around retention against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
