Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Cobalt Pharma and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
