Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Lumen River Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to payment disputes, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
