Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Lumen Cobalt Auto Group is a Louisville company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
