Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Amberfield Ember Markets Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 775 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around online orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to shrink and waste, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
