Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Nova Bright Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Knoxville producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
