Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Savannah supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to food distribution, and clear open items. • Track costs around client intake against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
