Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Foxglove Nest Financial Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Track costs around account servicing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
