Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

Nova Kestrel Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 454 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around online orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to store inventory, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with store inventory.
