Accountant - fixed assets (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Harbor Farms Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to harvest schedules, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around packing house output against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
