Accountant - fixed assets (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Drift Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Pittsburgh, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
